Fiera Real Estate and Wrenbridge have secured planning consent for a new 120,000 sq ft logistics facility in Stevenage.
The 5-acre site has a GDV of £40m and was purchased in June 2024 on behalf of the Fiera Real Estate Logistics Development Fund (FRELD). AIM, Stevenage is located on the Pin Green Industrial Estate on Wedgwood Way in Stevenage close to junctions seven and eight of the A1.
The joint venture partners are targeting an EPC A+ rating for the facility, which will feature green roof cycle shelters, a fully airtight structure, and 100% roof cover capability photovoltaic roof panels. The energy generated by the PV panels will be passed directly back to the tenant.
Will Jarman, associate director at Wrenbridge and development manager for AIM, Stevenage, said: “We are delighted to have secured planning approval to bring much needed employment space to the area. We are targeting PC in Q4 2025. This will be a fantastic facility, located minutes from the A1(M), for a local business to grow into or provide a new home for occupiers seeking best space with excellent travel times north and south.”
