Pan-European industrial and logistics investment manager Caisson iO has appointed Tim George as the company’s new managing director.

George, who has more than 20 years’ experience as a fund and portfolio manager, held roles at Grosvenor, Rockspring (now PATRIZIA) and Cromwell Property Group prior to joining Caisson iO.

In his new role, he will work with the board and wider team to identify new growth opportunities, institutional marketing initiatives and business development that aligns with the business’s long-term goals.

Philip Stott, executive board member and co-founder of Caisson iO, said: “Tim’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for our business and will underpin our ambition to provide the full scope of strategic solutions which enable the goals of our investment partners. Institutional investors are increasingly looking for sector-focused specialists who can deliver the expertise, knowledge and origination expected of an established platform to secure assets and drive returns through pro-active management. Having joined us earlier this year in a consultancy role to help us shape our future strategy, Tim is now ideally placed to support its implementation.”

George added: “Caisson iO is a highly regarded industrial and logistics specialist with an exceptional track record which is a testament to its talented team and deep client relationships. I’m excited by the opportunity to work with the board and all the team at Caisson iO to help the company scale, innovate, and achieve its growth ambitions as it enters a new phase in its evolution.”
