Insurance company CFC has signed for 90,000 sq ft at Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope’s 8 Bishopsgate office scheme at 85 Gracechurch Street in the City of London.

CFC has signed a 15-year lease on floors 10-15, taking the amount of space let or under offer at 8 Bishopsgate to more than 445,000 sq ft – or 80% full.

Shinichi Kagitomi, managing director of Mitsubishi Estate London, said: “8 Bishopsgate’s success in attracting an innovative company like CFC demonstrates the building’s continued appeal to businesses with expansion-led requirements. We are delighted to welcome CFC to our existing community of occupiers and look forward to providing them with an exceptional environment to support their growth.”

David Camp, chief executive of Stanhope, added: “CFC’s choice to expand within 8 Bishopsgate reflects the appeal and prestige that our location offers. We are committed to providing CFC with an exceptional workspace that aligns with their dynamic business model.”

With over 840 global staff, and counting, this magnificent new workspace for over 1000 people positions us perfectly to accommodate our future plans and continue attracting top talent.

“We’re especially proud to join the UK’s first tower to speculatively target BREEAM Outstanding and one designed with sustainable materials which minimises its environmental impact through smart technologies, reducing water use and boosting biodiversity.”
