Get Living has secured planning consent for up to 848 BTR homes and 504 student homes at its East Village neighbourhood in Stratford, London.
The buildings are the last to be delivered at East Village and will complete the original masterplan for the site.
The three new buildings will range in height from eight to 40 storeys. Buildings N18 and N19 will offer a range of rental accommodation, from studios to three-bedroom apartments, with on-site amenity provision including a gym and wellbeing facilities and a dining event space.
The student accommodation building – N16 – will provide flexible exhibition space on the ground floor so students can showcase their work. More than a third of the student beds will be affordable.
The buildings will also offer commercial space for independent retailers, cafes and restaurants, and extensive improvements will be made to the surrounding public realm, including the creation of ‘Fashion Square’ – a new square with planting, pedestrian and cycle routes.
All of the buildings have been designed to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and Passivhaus Principles.

Howells and TP Bennett are the architects for the buildings, Cast Consultancy is the project manager and Quod provided planning and development services. Work is expected to begin on site in 2024.
