Knight Frank has appointed Ben Anderson as an associate within the firm’s life sciences and innovation team.

Anderson joins Knight Frank from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation where he was a developmental surveyor focused on the development of a new life sciences hub in Lambeth. Prior to that, he was an asset manager and developmental surveyor at Bruntwood SciTech.

In his new role, Anderson will be based in the firm’s London office and work closely with Emma Goodford, Knight Frank’s head of life sciences and innovation, advising clients across development, leasing, investment and occupational markets.

Goodford said: “Ben’s experience advising on some of the UK’s most significant new life sciences projects will support the continued expansion of Knight Frank’s life sciences capabilities, giving innovative developers, occupiers and landlords access to expert insight into cutting-edge technical and operational trends. Ben’s knowledge and expertise will also enable us to strengthen our capability in advanced manufacturing, logistics and operations.”

Anderson added: “Given the nationwide shortage of lab space and the emerging pipeline of potential life sciences clusters in the UK, it is an exciting but crucial time for the market. I am looking forward to working with clients across the UK to navigate these trends and the shifting regulatory environment, and to joining some of the market’s most influential and well-connected advisers at Knight Frank.”
