An historic former dairy farm overlooking the edge of the Peak District has been put up for sale for the first time in more than a century.
Syke House Farm at Bradfield, South Yorkshire, sits on a one-acre site and comprises a collection of traditional and modern farm buildings.
The site has full planning permission and permitted development rights for 11 homes and features a range of historic buildings with a cruck-framed structure originally used as a stable with sleeping quarters above, believed to predate the farmhouse, which was built in the mid-1600s. Other barns are marked with date stones from 1775 and 1825.
Going forward, the Gray family, who have operated the farm at Syke House since the late 19th century, will still be present at Syke House Farm in the form of an on-site a farm shop.
