Black Sheep Coffee has taken a 1,800 sq ft unit at Invesco Real Estate’s Queensgate shopping centre in Peterborough.
The coffee chain, which launched in 2013 and today operates more than 50 locations across the UK, will sell its “iconic” coffee menu in addition to a selection of food from the kiosk when it opens in June.
Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth, co-founders of Black Sheep Coffee, said: “We are very excited to bring Black Sheep Coffee to Peterborough. We’ve experienced immense success across our sites in areas such as London, Manchester, and Edinburgh, and Queensgate makes a great addition to the portfolio, attracting local people and more dedicated visits from further away. Its visitors will enjoy our innovative offering, and join us in our socially conscious efforts to reduce single-use plastics.”
Ed Ginn, director of investment management at Invesco Real Estate, added: “Black Sheep Coffee is a reputable, established, and trusted operator within the market, and one which will work well in Queensgate. As we look to evolve the offer within the destination, we want to ensure our visitors have a mix of retail, F&B and leisure that can support a full-day out, and we’re confident that Black Sheep Coffee will enrich the centre and provide something unique for the city.”
