Black Sheep Coffee has agreed a 20-year lease on a 4,187 sq ft unit at Manchester Arndale. The shopping centre has also agreed a new five-year lease with The Works for its existing 3,356 sq ft store.
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, joint asset manager of the Arndale Centre with M&G Real Estate, said: “Manchester is a city known for its café culture, and we’re delighted that Black Sheep Coffee has chosen Manchester Arndale for its latest location. Already a firm favourite among locals and visitors alike, we’re looking forward to welcoming the independent operator which will provide a great stop off point for those exploring all the centre has to offer.
“We are also pleased that The Works has committed its future to Manchester Arndale. The store is a key driver of footfall for the centre and this new agreement is a clear sign that retailers have confidence in the long-term future of Manchester Arndale and its position as one of leading retail destinations in the North West.”

Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are retained letting agents at the Arndale Centre.
