Ergo Real Estate has let a 77,000 sq ft warehouse in Stafford to global food testing firm FDL.
The firm has agreed a 15-year lease on Unit 1, which is located approximately one mile from junction 14 of the M6 motorway. Ergo, on behalf of Aver Property, its joint venture with NFU Mutual, is still marketing the 66,000 sq ft Unit 2 at the same site. Both units are targeting an EPC A rating and BREEAM Very Good.
Fraser Ramage, investment executive at Ergo Real Estate, said: “The successful letting of Unit 1 in Stafford is the latest successful chapter in this dynamic sector, reflecting our expertise and understanding as well as our ability to bring fresh opportunities to the area.”
Wayne Daw, chief operations officer at FDL, added: “FDL is delighted to have secured such a high quality unit in this prime location, which is pivotal to progressing our growth plans in Staffordshire over the coming many years.”
Savills and Harris Lamb are joint agents on the scheme.
