Leicester hotel and casino sold for £8.75m

Tritax has sold a Travelodge hotel and Grosvenor Casino in Leicester to a UK family office for £8.75m.

The circa 63,000 sq ft property comprises a 95-bedroom hotel and casino, plus 55 car parking spaces and occupies a prominent city centre location next to Highcross Shopping Centre.

Victor Ktori, head of commercial real estate at Savills Nottingham, which acted for Tritax on the sale, said: “We are delighted to complete the sale of this prime Leicester city centre property which attracted robust demand driven by strong investment metrics.”
