Octopus Energy has signed for circa 2,900 sq ft of office space at Hortons’ Estate’s Grade II* listed Imperial and Whitehall building on Colmore Row, Birmingham.
The company has signed a five-year lease on the space, which will become the headquarters of its new national solar PV sales team.
Part of the iconic The Grand Hotel Birmingham, Imperial and Whitehall was originally built by Isaac Horton in the 1870s and offers 16 refurbished office suites which retain many of the building’s original features.
Nina Meeks of Hortons’ Estate, said: “We are very pleased to have leased additional office space to one of the UK’s fastest growing private companies. Octopus Energy is an existing occupier that has successfully established a sales and training hub at Imperial and Whitehall, creating many green energy jobs in Birmingham. We look forward to continuing to work together in the years to come.”
