Allsop has released the catalogues for its September residential and commercial auctions.

Its residential auction catalogue offers 505 lots – 21 of which are guided at £1m or above – featuring a mix of investment and development opportunities across the UK, including a freehold Victorian mansion set in 11 acres of grounds in Surrey, and a former health centre in East Sussex with development potential.

The first day of the three-day auction will take place at The May Fair Hotel in London on the 21 September, with two further sale days on the 27 and 28 September held remotely via livestream.

Richard Adamson, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “While much of the residential property market has had a quiet summer, we continue to see a huge amount of activity and appetite from domestic and overseas investors. Following the success of our August auction, we’re delighted to release our sixth residential catalogue of the year – our largest since September 2010 – in a reflection of the supply that has built up elsewhere in the market.

“The volume of lots on offer at this auction reflects the unrivalled success of the auction as a means to quickly realise strong values for investors’ assets and to release liquidity, as well as Allsop’s track record on behalf of a wide range of buyers and sellers. Alongside the three-day nature of the auction, one day of which will be in-the-room and two will be live-streamed, we’ll be bringing fresh talent to the rostrum with David Evans wielding the gavel for the first time.”

Allsop’s commercial auction, which will take place online on 19 September, features 109 lots, of which 23 are guided at or above £1m.

The catalogue includes a variety of investments, including a 50,500 sq ft former head office building in Coventry, which has a guide price of £4m-£4.5m, three Tesco sale and leasebacks, 13 KFC sale and leasebacks and 11 dental practices.

George Walker, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a really wide choice of investments across the UK, across all sectors with the portfolios of KFC, Tesco and dentists these offer secure investments for every budget. Having raised over £230m so far this year, we are confident that buyers will respond well to these opportunities to generate solid income streams for the long term. Whilst the markets are uncertain as to how rates will stabilise and begin to fall, long term investors are beginning to recognise real value in the yields being offered.”
