Property industry veteran Neil Sinclair has been appointed chairman of Norwegian proptech company Unloc AS.
Founded six years ago in Oslo, Unloc has created keyless software technology that means building owners and tenants no longer have to rely on physical keys, making the locking process completely digital.
Sinclair, who co-founded Palace Capital in July 2010 and was CEO until June 2022, is helping Unloc approach UK-based property owners and managers with the message that “the future is keyless”.
Sinclair said: “I’m really excited to help Unloc break into the UK market as they are a pioneering company in the proptech sector and the potential for their growth is enormous.”
Kris Riise, founder of Unloc, added: “Neil has been a huge contributor to the UK real estate market, and we are thrilled to have his experience and expertise heading up our board and helping our current and new UK customers get rid of keys.”
