American bourbon brand Buffalo Trace Distillery has signed a 10-year lease on a 3,500 sq ft unit at 32-33 Long Acre in Covent Garden.
The property, which is arranged over a basement, ground and first floor, will be home to the brand’s first bricks-and-mortar space beyond its American roots in Kentucky.
Visitors to the store will learn about the history of the brand, take part in tasting sessions and be able to purchase bottles to take home.
Daniel Aboud, Central London retail and leisure director at Savills, which acted on behalf of the landlord Faith Gear Holdings, said: “We are delighted that Buffalo Trace Distillery has chosen London for its expansion beyond the US. Covent Garden, with its diverse mix of retail and leisure offerings, will provide the perfect location for the brand to strengthen its presence in the UK market.”
