Newhall Projects has put a development site in Harlow, Essex, with a GCV of circa £20m up for sale.

The 1.7 acre Local Centre site forms part of the wider Newhall masterplan and comprises 64 one- and two-bedroom apartments and four commercial units.

Positioned on the edge of Harlow, Newhall is a modern new neighbourhood that acts as a natural extension to the town.

Aimée Pritchard-Davies, a partner in the city and east residential land team at Knight Frank, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to acquire an ‘oven-ready’ residential development site within Harlow’s award-winning Newhall masterplan. It provides the purchaser with an excellent opportunity to expand upon Newhall’s already established community and will transform the centre of the master plan creating a hub and plaza for all residents to enjoy.”

A spokesperson for Newhall Projects added: “Newhall represents a unique approach to community development, cultivating a neighbourhood that both respects the history of the land and creates a vision for the future. Working with top architectural practices, we strive to achieve a distinctive variety of house designs with high environmental standards and using high quality materials.

“The Local Centre, designed by PRP Architects, is a prime example of this approach – a meticulously planned scheme in a key location within the wider Newhall masterplan. We are particularly delighted therefore to be working once again with Knight Frank to bring this scheme to the market and to find a purchaser who can develop the site to its full potential.”
