Telford Homes has received a unanimous revised resolution to grant planning consent for a residential development on a 4.82-acre site in Ilford.
Following the original resolution to grant planning permission in December 2022, the scheme has been adjusted to respond to revised fire safety guidance, which required five of the proposed seven buildings on site to be redesigned with a secondary means of escape.
The scheme will deliver more than 1,000 new build-to-rent, affordable housing and purpose-built student accommodation homes within a new landscaped public realm. The scheme will also feature flexible commercial spaces and a new Sainsbury’s store.
