Conygar has submitted a planning application for an additional 383-space purpose-build student accommodation (PBSA) block at The Island Quarter development in Nottingham.
If the plans are approved for the new block on the Manvers Road side of the 36-acre site, The Island Quarter could eventually house more than 1,000 students.
The 693 beds currently being built at the adjacent Winfield Court site are due to open to students in time for the 2024/25 academic year.
Designed by DAY Architectural, the new block will offer cluster accommodation, studios and premium room options, with on-site amenities including a gym, laundry room, lounges and informal breakout areas.
