Woolbro Group has secured planning permission via appeal for a residential development in the London Borough of Barnet.

The scheme will provide 20 new homes, including affordable housing, on a 0.2 hectare site on Gruneisen Road, which currently contains an MOT garage.

The garage will be replaced by two high-quality buildings, three and four storeys in height. Three of the 20 homes proposed will be designated as affordable housing and the proposals also seek to retain employment uses on site through the provision of 460 sq m of office space.

Arjun Lal, senior planner in Boyer’s London office, said: “We are delighted to have achieved this planning consent on behalf of the Woolbro Group. This is an excellent development which contributes to the delivery of much needed housing and jobs within Barnet.”

The project team also included HTA Architects, Motion, JAW, T16 and DJC.
