Dandara Living has received planning permission for the City Wharf build-to-rent (BTR) and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme at Anderston Quay in Glasgow.

The scheme will be built on a derelict site overlooking the Kingston Bridge and will deliver nearly 500 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes for rent and 490 student beds, in addition to commercial units.

The scheme, which was designed by architects Manson, will feature a cycle hub, gym, residents lounge and co-working space on the ground and first floor, in addition to a new urban park and private courtyard.

Rachel Allwood, planning director of Dandara Living, said: “We’re delighted City Wharf has been given the green light. It will play a key role in the significant transformation this part of the city is undergoing and help to bring more people into the area extending the vibrancy of the Clyde waterfront.”
