Saira Johnston has joined the board of Picton as chief financial officer (CFO).
Johnston, who has more than 20 years’ industry experience, was most recently CFO at Gravis Capital Management. Prior to that, she worked for Moorfield Group, CBRE Global Investors/ING Real Estate and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.
Lena Wilson CBE, chair of Picton, said: “On behalf of the board, we are delighted to welcome Saira, a highly regarded CFO with a proven track record in real estate finance, to the business. She brings a wealth of experience and complementary skills to Picton which will ensure we maintain our disciplined approach to capital allocation, with a focus on earnings growth.”
Johnston added: “I am delighted to have joined a company that is well regarded, with a long term track record and that has consistently outperformed the MSCI UK Quarterly Property Index since launch. I am looking forward to working with the team to further develop its strategy.”
Andrew Dewhirst, who is retiring from the company, has stepped down from the board and will leave the business following a smooth transition and delivery of the firm’s 2024 annual report and accounts.
