Architecture practice Arney Fender Katsalidis (AFK) has appointed Nick Hacking as director and head of residential.
Hacking joins AFK from Sheppard Robson where he was partner and head of residential responsible for designing and leading high-profile regeneration projects.
In the newly-created role, he will lead the design and delivery of residential developments across London and the UK.
Hacking said: “I’m really excited to join AFK, and looking forward to building on the practice’s strong design credentials at such an important point in the evolution of UK’s residential market. Tackling the need to deliver more and better-quality homes across the UK there are significant opportunities particularly with the emergence of alternative residential products such as BTR, attainable housing, co-living and PBSA, as well as increased focus on fostering communities.
