Coffee brand Nespresso has signed for a new 1,345 sq ft store in Covent Garden.

The brand will open the new store in spring next year in a historic corner building at 34 Henrietta Street. Nespresso is closing its Regent Street store at the end of this year.

Anna Lundstrom, CEO of Nespresso UK&I, said: “We’re excited to bring Nespresso to Covent Garden, a place rich in coffee culture and history. Today, Covent Garden thrives as a hub of modern British lifestyle, making it the perfect location for our latest boutique. Our unique retail space invites coffee lovers to come together, connect, and explore the world of Nespresso, whilst discovering diverse coffee tastes and flavours in an inspiring setting designed to celebrate a shared passion for coffee.”

William Oliver, retail leasing director at Shaftesbury Capital, added: “As the UK’s leading destination for flagship locations from world-class brands, Nespresso’s commitment to open a new anchor store in Covent Garden is an ideal fit. Nespresso will add to the Piazza and wider neighbourhood’s already extensive backdrop of innovative lifestyle brands, and undertake significant investment in one of Covent Garden’s many historic buildings, revitalising a key corner right in the heart of the destination.”
