Wendy’s franchisee Khidmat has appointed Savills to secure additional locations in the South West of England for the American quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand.
Savills is seeking sites in the heart of Bath, Exeter and Plymouth and will consider high-traffic locations, including drive-thrus, shopping centres and retail parks, that span approximately 2,500 sq ft.
The brand intends to eventually operate 400 restaurants in the UK market and recent new openings include Academy Business Park in Kirkby, Liverpool (pictured), which marked the region’s first bricks-and-mortar Wendy’s restaurant.
Jessica Hill, surveyor in the restaurants and leisure team at Savills, said: “Wendy’s has experienced phenomenal global growth in recent years, making substantial investments in local resources to strengthen its foothold for its ambitious expansion plans. We are delighted to be working with Khidmat in the South West to help bolster Wendy’s pipeline of new openings and reach its long-term target of 400 restaurants in the UK.”
