Sandyford Properties has sold a non-core office asset in Stoke-on-Trent to NLC Group of Companies for its new headquarters.
The manufacturer of decorative lighting, homewares and small domestic home appliances paid an undisclosed sum for the 7,400 sq ft Whittle Court, which comprises units three to six at the Town Road business park in Hanley.
Sandyford has also sold the freehold of the common parts and the car parking at the business park to MK2 Property Management, the park’s property manager, which enables it to exit the site in full.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “The sale of the site is consistent with Sandyford’s strategy to become a pure multi-let industrial property company. Following the sale 95% of the rent roll comprises industrial property.”
Sandyford was advised by Mounsey Chartered Surveyors on the transaction and Davitt Jones Bould provided legal advice.
