Vistry Group has secured planning permission to build 140 new homes at Leicester Road in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
The group has simultaneously completed on a contract with social enterprise Places for People for 83 properties at the site.
This £31m new development will comprise a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom mixed-tenure houses and maisonettes designed to blend in with the town’s historic community.
The new homes will be built using modern methods of construction using open panel timber frames from the Vistry Works East Midlands factory. Work is expected to start on site in spring 2025.
