Clarion Housing Group has secured planning consent for the redevelopment of the Clare House site in Bow.
Situated within Clarion’s Monteith Estate, the approved plans include the demolition of the existing 22-storey Clare House and the construction of a new 23-storey residential building, complemented by an adjoining four- to five-storey mansion block.
Designed by HTA Design, the development will provide 145 new social rented homes, improved public realm and a modern community facility.

“We designed a repeating chequerboard pattern of contrasting brick panels to add a lively character to a more slender landmark building with stunning views across Victoria Park. This approval is an important milestone in creating a place people will be proud to call home.”
