Savills has been appointed to look for new stores, relocations and upsize opportunities and is activity seeking new opportunities in prominent roadside and retail park settings with suitable parking provision.
Tom Falk, head of property at Costa Coffee, said: “Costa Coffee has ambitious growth plans over the coming years, both in terms of opening new stores and optimising our existing estate. To achieve this, it’s essential that we work with the industry’s leading property advisors. Savills are the perfect partner – they’ve worked alongside us for nearly 20 years and have a deep understanding of our business. We’re excited to enter into a new agreement with them, further expanding their remit within the UK.”
Matt Brown, director in the Savills retail team, added: “While we continue to focus on acquiring new drive-thru and retail park sites for Costa Coffee, we are also putting a considerable amount of effort into upsizing and rightsizing across the estate. Our new extended role with Costa Coffee expands this work to also include high street, shopping centres and travel hubs nationwide. Over the last couple of decades, we have strategically enhanced Costa Coffee’s presence across the UK, ensuring that each site meets the evolving needs of its customers and supports the company’s vision for the future.”
