Edinburgh-founded fashion footwear retailer schuh has signed for a 5,500 sq ft unit at St James Quarter for its Scottish flagship store.
The new store will open in May on Level 1 of the Galleria and will offer the latest products from more than 80 footwear brands, including Nike, adidas, UGG and Converse.
The store will be unveiled in collaboration with sportswear brand ASICS and offer an immersive, wellness-inspired retail experience.
Chris Pyne, leasing director for St James Quarter, said: “Schuh is a great addition to St James Quarter, adding even more choice to our comprehensive retail offer that is now Scotland’s go-to location for leading UK and international brands. For a brand with depth in Scotland to choose the quarter for its launch of a brand-new concept store underlines the confidence retailers have in St James Quarter as the number one retail destination in Scotland.”
Neil Partington, chief retail officer at schuh, added: “Scotland is at the heart of schuh – the birthplace of the business. Edinburgh, in particular, has always been a pivotal location for us, as the city where it all began. St James Quarter offers a prime opportunity to showcase our bold retail approach. With a curated selection of must-have brands and a commitment to exceptional customer service, schuh remains the go-to destination for footwear shopping in the capital.”
P-THREE and Culverwell represented St James Quarter and CBRE acted for schuh.
