Hotel operator Inn-telligence and the Grosvenor Estate have secured planning consent for the transformation of six Grade II listed townhouses on Ebury Street in Belgravia into a boutique hotel.
The approved scheme, which was designed by Studio Moren, will interconnect the historic townhouses at Astor’s Belgravia (106–112 Ebury Street) and Belgravia Hotel (102–104 Ebury Street) for the first time.
The hotel will provide 68 bespoke guest rooms, including accessible suites, each showcasing original period features. The ground floor layout will be reimagined to accommodate a new reception and dining areas in addition to a lounge, bar and private dining space.
Paul Wells, partner at Studio Moren, said: “Our proposals strike the perfect balance between respecting the rich architectural heritage of Belgravia and providing a modern and luxurious experience for guests. Securing planning consent is the result of a close collaborative effort between the Studio Moren team and LB Westminster, and we look forward to making our vision a reality.”
