Menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt has signed for a new headquarters at Landsec’s The Forge office development in London’s Bankside.

The company has taken 18,680 sq ft at The Forge and is relocating its 240-strong head office team to the building. Only two office units providing 17,000 sq ft of space are now available to let at the scheme.

Oliver Knight, head of workplace at Landsec, said: “The Forge is proving that sustainability and commercial appeal go hand in hand. These latest lettings, led by Charles Tyrwhitt’s head office relocation, highlight the growing importance organisations are placing on net zero buildings that provide exceptional working environments whilst also supporting long-term corporate environmental goals. The Forge sets a new standard for workspaces, attracting ambitious businesses with its excellent amenities, transport connections, and sustainability focus.”

Luke Kingsnorth, chief executive officer at Charles Tyrwhitt, added: “The Forge is the perfect fit for the future of Charles Tyrwhitt – combining sustainability, design excellence and an unbeatable location fits perfectly with our culture and values. Relocating our head office here supports both our ambition to provide an outstanding workplace for our people and environmental commitments. We’re proud to be part of a development that reimagines exceptional office space.”

CBRE and Union Street Partners are the leasing agents for The Forge.
