Nord has secured two lettings at its One Portwall Square office scheme in Bristol taking the building to 85% let.

Built environment advisory business Turley Associates has taken 2,925 sq ft on part of the second floor and insurance company QBE has taken 3,960 sq ft on part of the third floor. Following completion of the lettings, there are just two suites of 1,915 sq ft and 2,960 sq ft available to let in the building.

Designed by AHMM and developed by Nord, One Partwall Square is connected to the Bristol heat network, has BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, and was the winner of the 2023 British Council for Offices (BCO) national award for the best commercial workplace in the UK.

Katie Jay, principle at Nord, said: “We are delighted to welcome two exceptional tenants to their new home at One Portwall Square. These office lettings reflect the quality of the space that we have delivered and show that highly adaptable, sustainable workspaces in well-connected central locations will continue to be in demand.”

Harry Allen, director in the office agency team at Savills, which is joint agent at the building alongside CSquared Real Estate, added: “These two lettings at One Portwall Square demonstrate the demand for prime office space and they are testament to the quality of the overall scheme and strong ESG credentials that such high-calibre professional service occupiers want to move in. We expect the remaining two suites in the building to go quickly.”

Freddie Myatt, senior surveyor at Hartnell Taylor Cook, which advised Turely, said: “We’re delighted to have advised Turley in securing their fantastic new Bristol office. The new office is a great fit for the business and supports their continued growth and future ambitions.”
