City & Country has secured a £32.5m development finance facility from Paragon Bank to support the renovation of the historic Bath Press site on Lower Bristol Road in Bath.
Work on the 5.3-acre former printworks site commenced earlier this year and the first phase of the residential scheme, which will deliver 134 apartments – nine of which will be affordable – and 12 houses, will be completed in phases over the next four years with the first houses due to be completed from winter 2026.
The development, will retain the original Bath Press façade, honouring its architectural heritage, while introducing a modern mix of dwellings and commercial units.
Paragon’s funding facility supported the acquisition of the site together with development funding for the first phase of the scheme.
