The Hill Group and housing association Poplar HARCA have received planning permission for the £800m redevelopment of the Teviot Estate in Poplar, East London.
The development will provide 1,928 new homes, including 508 new affordable homes, delivered over four phases, alongside community facilities, public spaces and a fully re-landscaped Langdon Park.
The first phase, which will provide 475 new homes, of which 44% will be affordable, will start on site next year with first completions expected by 2028.
Designed by architects BPTW, the site’s masterplan spans eight hectares and includes a mix of studios, apartments and family homes.
