Enterprise Land has launched a new hotel platform as part of its strategy to diversify across operational real estate.

The new platform is led by Hugo Steen and Dorian Dreyfus who have joined Enterprise Land from Principal Asset Management. The move sees them reunite with Enterprise Land founder and chief executive Andrew Thornton, who was the former CEO real estate Europe of Principal Asset Management.

Steen was formerly head of hotel and leisure Investments at Principal Asset Management, leading hotel investment activity across multiple jurisdictions, and Dreyfus was formerly director of project management in the same team.

Thornton said: “Hotels are a natural next step for us. Operational real estate is where we see long-term value, and Hugo and Dorian bring exceptional insight, networks and execution capabilities in this space. With their leadership, we are well positioned to build a distinctive and scalable hotel platform across Europe.”

Steen added: “I’m thrilled to join Enterprise Land and to be rejoining Andrew at this exciting stage. Enterprise Land’s forward-thinking approach, combining operational real estate expertise with cutting-edge technology, perfectly aligns with my vision for value creation in the hotel investment sector. The synergy between hotels and the purpose-built student accommodation sectors offers significant opportunities.”
