Landsec has sold Bexhill Retail Park to an unnamed US investor for £70m.
The company has generated £366m from the disposal of four retail park assets since March 2025.
The disposals are in line with the company’s strategic focus of recycling capital out of subscale sectors and monetising part of its capital employed in low-yielding pre-development assets.
Landsec said the proceeds would support its planned additional circa £1bn investment in growing its major retail destinations platform.
Tim Treadwell, head of retail portfolio at Landsec, said: “We are making good progress against our strategy to recycle capital out of assets where there is limited potential for further value creation. Proceeds from the sale of Bexhill Retail Park will support our investment in opportunities that will drive the evolution of our best-in-class retail platform and deliver stronger, more sustainable income growth and EPS growth, whilst maintaining a strong capital base.”
