The board of Home REIT has confirmed it is talks to sell the majority of the company’s portfolio of assets to Patron Capital for £123m.
Responding to press speculation, the board said it had entered into an exclusivity agreement with Patron Capital on the sale of approximately 700 of the company’s 853 properties.
The remaining properties in the company’s portfolio were valued at £18.25m in the draft valuation report prepared by Jones Lang LaSalle as at 31 August 2025.
In a statement, the board said: “While discussions are ongoing with Patron Capital, there can be no certainty that a transaction will be agreed upon or as to the final terms of any such agreement, and this update should not be construed as announcing a transaction.”
The sales process is expected to conclude in Q4 2025 or early 2026.
