Sheet Anchor Evolve has acquired two retail units in the heart of Chesterfield for an undisclosed price.

The units at 9, 11–13 Market Place are let to Card Factory and Primark. Earlier this year, Sheet Anchor Evolve acquired Vicar Lane Shopping Centre as part of its ongoing commitment to invest in and enhance Chesterfield’s town centre.

Chris Daly, director at Sheet Anchor Evolve, which is part of M Core, said: “This acquisition builds on our long-term investment in Chesterfield and reflects our confidence in the town’s continued evolution. We’re increasingly focused on creating mixed-use environments that bring together retail, leisure, workspace, and residential elements.

“At Vicar Lane, we’re currently undertaking a strategic review to explore how we can enhance the tenant mix, improve public spaces, and introduce complementary uses. Our goal is to ensure the centre continues to serve the community while remaining relevant and resilient for the long term”.

Sheet Anchor Evolve was advised by Clarke Willmott and Cited on the transaction.
