Savills has appointed new heads of its Cardiff and Oxford offices.
In Cardiff, Jonathan Latham has taken over the head of office role from Chris Potts, who established the Savills Cardiff office in 2007.
Latham joined Savills in 2018 and currently leads the property management team in Cardiff. Potts will continue to spearhead the company’s sports and major leisure service line having worked with a number of premier league football teams.
Latham said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of head of Savills Cardiff. We have an incredibly talented team and a strong foundation, but there’s still so much growth ahead of us. I’m excited to build on our success and continue shaping the future of the business, working closely across all divisions to deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
Potts added: “It’s been a privilege to lead the Cardiff office and see the progress we’ve made over 18 years. My full focus is now on delivery of major sports stadia across the UK and working with colleagues in the USA, Australia and the Middle East supporting major events. Jonathan will now take the lead in driving the growth of the office, establishing new service lines and strengthening the market-leading teams we already have.”

In Oxford, Gemma Chandler (pictured), a director in the firm’s rural estate management team, has been appointed to lead its 120-strong team of real estate experts.
Chandler has worked for the business for 11 years and has been based in the Oxford office since 2021. She is the head of rural management for Savills’ central regional business.
She takes over from Richard Binning, who has led Savills Oxford for seven years, and was recently appointed to the Savills UK board, representing the rural division. Binning will continue to provide rural agency consultancy alongside his position on the Savills UK board.
Chandler said: “It is a privilege to succeed Richard as head of the Savills Oxford office and a challenge I am very much looking forward to. 2026 marks our 30th anniversary here in Oxford – a milestone we will be proudly celebrating with our excellent team and clients.”
Binning added: “I am hugely proud of our business in Oxford, which is home to the most incredible team of experts across residential, rural and commercial real estate. We have the privilege of advising on some of the most significant schemes in Oxford, working with our clients to help shape the city’s future growth. As my role has evolved to cover a wider remit, now is the time for me to hand the reigns to Gemma, who I know will do an exceptional job of leading the office in 2026 and beyond.”
