Strategic land promoter Catesby Estates has sold a 13.21-acre site at Chestnut Tree Farm in Twigworth, Gloucestershire, to housebuilder Charles Church South Midlands for an undisclosed price.
The site has outline planning permission for up to 85 new homes, of which 40% will be affordable, as well as public open space.

We look forward to seeing the development take shape and the benefits it will deliver locally.”
Steve Lambley, land director at Charles Church South Midlands added: “We’re pleased to have purchased this site from Catesby Estates and will be submitting a reserved matters application to Tewkesbury Borough Council shortly and we are hopeful that the first homes will be delivered in the summer of 2027.”
Savills and Court Consulting acted on behalf of the landowner and Catesby on the sale.
