Stockford Anderson, the London-based, specialist out-of-town retail and leisure investment agency, has rebranded as Moreton Property.

The team comprises investment agency specialists Matthew Stockford, Tom Watson, James Welch and new recruit Alistair Crossdale, who is a former rugby player for the likes of Sale and Saracens.

Over the past few years, Stockford Anderson has advised on some notable transactions including the £600m sale of the Brookfield retail warehouse portfolio to British Land.

Watson said: “Following the departure of Paul Anderson in October 2025, and the recent recruitment of Ali Crossdale, this transitional moment called for a renaming of the partnership. Our highly experience, specialist team will continue to provide a top level of service to all our valued clients.”

On the hiring of Crossdale, Stockford added: “He is now looking to prop up the Moreton Property team, help us outflank the competition and try to lock into further high value deals to drive-over the line. We think after he converts a few transactions, he will be hooked.”
