Vistry has agreed a deal with CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM), on behalf of its UK Affordable Housing Fund (AHF), to forward sell 60 affordable homes at its Willow Park development in Buckingham.

Of the 152 homes being delivered in the central parcel of the development, the 60 affordable homes being forward sold to CBRE IM comprise 47 for affordable rent and 13 for shared ownership. The remaining 92 homes will be sold on the open market.

Vistry’s southern and central parcels at Willow Park form part of the company’s wider strategy to deliver 420 mixed tenure homes on the 14-acre site, which is located on the outskirts of Buckingham.

Nic Chapman, managing director, Vistry northern Home Counties, said: “This deal with CBRE IM is another important step in delivering the vision for Willow Park as a high quality mixed-tenure neighbourhood for Buckingham. We’re already seeing residents move into the southern parcel and it’s great to see the community beginning to take shape. We look forward to continuing that progress across the site.”

Ann Xu, portfolio manager at CBRE UK Affordable Housing Fund, added: “This transaction represents a meaningful step in expanding the supply of affordable homes in Buckingham, and further strengthens our successful partnership with Vistry. Together, we are delivering four schemes and a total of 353 new homes through this collaboration. Through AHF, our priority is to provide high quality, sustainable housing that meets genuine affordability needs while generating a stable, inflation‑tracking income stream for our investors.”
