Montreal-born lifestyle brand GARAGE has signed for a 4,000 sq ft unit at Manchester Arndale on a 10-year lease.
The brand currently operates 231 sites across North America and made its UK debut with initial store openings at Bluewater and on Oxford Street.
Scott Linard, portfolio manager at M&G Real Estate, said: “We are delighted that GARAGE has selected Manchester Arndale for one of its first North West locations. Following recent openings, this addition further enhances our retail offer and complements our existing tenant mix. Our strategy remains focused on curating a strong lineup of best-in-class brands to meet the evolving demands of visitors from Manchester and beyond.”
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, added: “Bringing GARAGE to Manchester Arndale is a fantastic addition to our growing fashion line-up. The brand has built a strong reputation internationally, and we’re proud to be the destination chosen for its first store in the North West.”
Romina Kolodziejska, vice president, global real estate and store development at GARAGE, said: “Manchester is a key market for us as we continue to expand our footprint in the UK. Opening our first store at Manchester Arndale allows us to establish GARAGE in one of the country’s most prominent retail destinations. This milestone reflects our broader growth strategy and commitment to delivering a strong, consistent brand experience.
