The last remaining development sites at the former MG Rover factory in Birmingham have been sold for £4m.
Located in Longbridge, around eight miles south of Birmingham city centre, the 1 and 2 Park Square sites provide 2.44 acres and 1.73 acres and benefit from outline planning permission for up to 360 apartments.
Michael Maguire, director in the Midlands development land team at Savills, which acted on the sale of the sites, said: “Longbridge is an important part of Birmingham’s manufacturing history and we are pleased to have secured a buyer for the final town centre plots. We look forward to seeing the plans progress as part of the wider regeneration.”
