The Greater London Authority (GLA) has appointed CBRE as its long-term strategic commercial adviser, following a competitive tender process.
The appointment will see CBRE provide independent commercial, financial and development advice across GLA Land and Property (GLAP) and the GLA. The appointment includes strategic support on major regeneration programmes, alongside wider commercial assurance, business plan analysis and scenario modelling to help inform decision making.
Sarah Birt, head of development at GLA, said: “CBRE’s appointment as strategic commercial advisors enables GLA Land and Property Limited to draw on their breadth of expertise and market insight, which is critical to respond to the current challenges and opportunities across development on the mayor’s land”.
John Percy, head of public sector, London and the South East at CBRE, added: “This is a pivotal moment for regeneration in London, and we are proud to have been appointed to support the GLA on some of London’s most significant programmes. This appointment reflects the strength and depth of our advisory capabilities, and we look forward to helping deliver long-term value for Londoners.”
