Real Estate Balance has appointed PJ Galvin as the organisation’s new managing director.
Galvin joins Real Estate Balance following a five-year stint at Hammerson, where he led the organisation’s strategy for culture, performance and employee experience, and served as chair of its LGBTQ+ affinity group.
He has three decades’ experience working within large global retail businesses, including at the likes of Selfridges, Molton Brown and Gap.
Jo Davis, chair of Real Estate Balance, said: “Welcoming PJ as managing director of Real Estate Balance is genuinely exciting and an important milestone for us. His passion for creating inclusive environments where people truly belong aligns perfectly with our mission and momentum. I’m confident he will build on the organisation’s strong foundations and accelerate its impact across the industry.”
Galvin added: “Over the last 10 years, Real Estate Balance has successfully helped its members make inclusion a core strategic priority. As someone who has spent their career creating workplace environments where people feel they truly belong, I’m thrilled to be joining the organisation and further developing this work. I’m excited to support Real Estate Balance’s members to continue driving change, building inclusive cultures and opening up opportunities for people from all backgrounds.”
