Open-air padel court operator Atmos Padel has appointed Stärka to secure a portfolio of UK sites.

The company is searching for locations between 13,000 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft to accommodate up to five courts and a club house. Stärka is prioritising unused or under-utilised land in densely populated areas served by good transport infrastructure.

Atmos Padel, which was formerly known as Padel Project UK, currently operates five sites in Darlington, Lytham St Annes, Potters Bar, South Sheilds and Worthing.

Ben Lacey, CEO of Atmos Padel, said: “Our mission is to democratise padel by building a portfolio of affordable facilities that provide the best quality courts and facilities to enable free-flowing games that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances. As we grow, we need to work with partners that share our different perspective and match our ambition. We have that and more in Stärka.”

David Bell, co-founder of Stärka, added: “The Atmos concept is bold, which matters in a market where ‘me too’ is fast becoming the norm. The differentiation of the product, the vision of the team and the long-term financial backing make for a unique combination, one that is already raising a lot of interest among landlords and landowners. The sky is the limit for Atmos and it is great to be part of the team.”
