Derwent London has appointed Multiplex as main contractor on the 50 Baker Street development in Marylebone, London.
The 236,000 sq ft office-led, mixed-use scheme will comprise office space, retail units and restaurants, in addition to 17 residential apartments.
Designed by AHMM, the nine-storey development will also feature a new cultural and educational facility operated by the Baker Street Quarter Partnership. Following the completion of demolition and enabling works by McGee, main works construction will commence in 2027 with completion targeted for 2029.
