Later living provider Rangeford Villages has secured planning consent for a new retirement community near Oakley in Hampshire.
The approved plans pave the way for a 147-home development within the grounds of the Oakley Hall Estate, which is also home to the Oakley Hall Hotel and Oak Lodge Care Home.
The later living scheme will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, alongside two- and three-bedroom bungalows. The on-site amenity provision will include a fully equipped gym and spa, featuring a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and exercise studio, a restaurant and coffee shop with an outdoor terrace, a hair and beauty salon, treatment room and a private dining room.
There will also be a village green, croquet lawn, putting green, plus fully landscaped gardens with raised beds for owners and a kitchen garden for the restaurant.
