Targetfollow has put The Pantiles Georgian arcade in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells up for sale.

The Pantiles comprises 25 retail and restaurant units set within a 40,074 sq ft Georgian colonnade, with residential and workspace accommodation located above. There is the potential to refurbish up to 28 flats at the estate, which produces £936,855 per annum today, rising to £1,068,354 on reversion.

The sale also includes Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall Commons and the historic Lord of the Manor of Rusthall title.

Hugh White, head of national capital markets at BNP Paribas Real Estate, which alongside Strutt & Parker has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “The Pantiles represents an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire one of the UK’s most recognisable and historically significant mixed-use estates. Opportunities to purchase assets of this scale, heritage and quality are incredibly scarce, particularly those that combine strong existing income with genuine long-term asset management and placemaking potential.

“The estate’s diverse occupier mix, resilient performance and enduring appeal as a destination make it a compelling proposition for investors seeking both secure income and the chance to steward an iconic piece of British history.”
