Grosvenor has appointed Diana Noble as an independent adviser to its group investment committee.
The committee, which is chaired by Michael McLintock and comprises the Grosvenor trustees and two independent advisers, is responsible for overseeing Grosvenor’s activities, capital allocation, strategy and performance.
Noble is currently deputy chair of the Court of the Bank of England and chair of its remuneration committee. She was chief executive of CDC, now British International Investment, from 2011 to 2017 and prior to that she worked for Schroder Ventures, now Permira, and founded e-Ventures and Reed Elsevier Ventures.
Mark Preston, Grosvenor executive trustee, said: “I am delighted that Diana has agreed to join Grosvenor as an independent adviser to the group investment committee. Her distinguished career combines deep investment experience with a strong understanding of governance, international development and long-term institutional stewardship. Her insight and perspective will be extremely valuable to the committee and to Grosvenor more broadly.”
